merica Master of Public Health from the University of Minnesota, America Received a Bachelor's degree in laboratories in 1994 and Medicine in 1998 from the American University in Beirut, Lebanon. She completed her residency in General Internal Medicine from New York University in Buffalo, USA in 2002 and then held the position of Chief Internal Medicine Resident there in 2003. From 2003 to 2007, she worked as a consultant physician at the Dakota Medical Center in Minnesota, USA. She received a master's degree in public health from the University of Minnesota, USA. In 2007 and 2008, she worked as a consultant physician in the emergency department at the same center. Dr. Nawal practiced her internship in the USA as an internist with a focus on women's health and geriatrics. She did research on palliative care and wrote articles about it.
