In the late 1940s, the world was suffering from a smallpox epidemic, and Abdulrahman, who was only f our years old, was deeply affected by the suffering the disease caused in his community. After losing a family member, Abdulrahman decided to become a doctor to help people overcome disease. He graduated in 1972, becoming the first qualified doctor from the Eastern Province and the first Saudi to join the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists in London. Show more
