Consultant Pediatrician and Neonatologist Holds: - Arab Board in Pediatrics, Dr. Mai Abu Atiq receiv
ed his medical degree from the University of Baghdad in 1983. She completed residency in several different specialties including Obstetrics & Gynecology, Pediatrics, Internal Medicine, Surgery and in the Cardiac Care Unit. I worked dr. Abu Atiq as a resident physician in the neonatal intensive care department, in pediatric oncology, emergency department, endocrinology, neurology, infectious diseases and cardiology during the period from 1986 to 1990. She received a board degree and a doctorate in Pediatrics and Neonatology. I was appointed to the College of Medicine at the University of Baghdad as an associate professor. She worked for several years as a Pediatric Consultant at Al-Mansour Children's Teaching Hospital and taught hands-on medical students in their fifth and sixth years. She has also worked as a consultant neonatologist in the neonatal intensive care unit of the Medical City Teaching Hospital and the neonatal intensive care unit. After that, Dr. Abu Ateeq moved to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, where she worked as a consultant pediatrician and neonatologist and head of the pediatrics department and the pediatric intensive care unit at the New Jeddah Hospital from 1999 to 2005 and then at Bakhsh Hospital in Jeddah from 2005 to 2009.
